Students from Powhatan County Public Schools and Blessed Sacrament Huguenot were awarded forty-four blue ribbons in the GFWC Lee District Arts and Crafts show. The contest took place at the West End Community Center on Saturday, March 8, 2008. They go on to compete in the GFWC Virginia Contest. This contest is conducted during the State Convention held at the Omni Hotel in Richmond on April 25-28, 2008.
