Another spin on getting info ‘on line…’
Published: November 04, 2008

Here is how at least one reporter took the pulse of the county…via the phone at the dry cleaners.
I called the cleaners around 10 a.m. to make sure that they had not sent my husband’s suits to the charity shop (as they warned me they would do if I did not pick them up) and the very nice lady that answered said ‘Can you hold on? I have a customer.’ She then got into a conversation with a man picking up his clothes, concerning the election and just how much they would like all this to be over.

According to this man, the polling place he went to had been a little crazy but manageable.

I could only hear this, mind you, but I suppose it is the closest a reporter could be to being the proverbial fly on the wall.

Wow, I am just completely amazed by the journalistic talent of this article. Yeah by the way, I over heard someone else talking about something yesterday too. Where should I send a copy of my article about it.
