Case against man charged with possession of marijuana continued Published: May 20, 2009 By Michael Copley, Staff Writer A federal search warrant executed by the DEA turned up over a half pound of marijuana in a county home last year. Federal agents searched Glenn Worrell’s home September 4, 2008 because the individual targeted in the warrant was known to frequent Worrell’s residence. Worrell arrived home while agents were conducting their search and he told them he had bought a pound of marijuana every three months for the last five or six years. He said the majority was for personal use but admitted to selling small quantities of the drug to five regular clients. It was noted that Worrell has no prior criminal history and his bond was continued ahead of a sentencing hearing next term. Related Story: Powhatan resident gets suspended sentence in drug case |

Mrs. Worrell has known of her husband’s involvement with pot since before she married him. She is a kind enough person but always chose to look the other way. I can’t say I blame her—she just never could stand up to it. Glenn has always been a person who—when it came down to the bottom line—wanted to do what he wanted to do. Period. Anyone out there familiar with the little backyard get-togethers Glenn used to host at their home on Jude’s Ferry years ago? His poor kids! Some are calling Glenn a great parent? PLEASE! It was the ultimate act of selfishness that he decided to not only continue using drugs long after he became a father and should have grown up—but he went from being a regular user to SELLING IT!!! The man became a DEALER. And again, yes his wife knew! They really could throw a party. mattie feldman of who cares

MOMMY, DADDY! stop fighting. You two idiots sound like you can out of civil rights movement. GET OVER YOURSELVES!!! Your attitudes wont help a damn thing anywhere. The fact that you brought up racism, is racist itself. Race, color, creed, whatever…..had NOTHING TO DO WITH THE VERDICT! I was there…in the courtroom. So for all those ignorant people who think they know everything go back to watching Dateline and 20/20 and quit reading the garbage that michael copley put on here. He’s a liar in the first place and he wouldn’t know compassion or integrity if it hit him in the mouth. Besides….why dont you people use your real name? If you really want your voice heard…..USE IT! I sure your parents didnt name you bornhere and friend. martin baumgart of chesterfield

Friend..it appears I’m not the only sick of seeing your hate-mongering, race-card-carrying BS…Since you feel you need to comment on our community, why don’t you move your nappy a** right on back and pay some taxes..Until then, keep your racial comments to yourself..If you are black (which I suspect you are because of your doggedness to use the race card), you are embarassing alot of your fellow African/Americans with your apparent ignorance, lack of ability to spell or put a decent sentence together.. “If you always do what you’ve always done, you’re gonna get what you’ve always gotten..” Stop living in the past, and move past your tired, endless racial pot-stirring..You and Al Sharpton are a discredit to your race…End of..
