Powhatan’s Christmas Mother is hoping residents will come share the magic of the holidays with her this Saturday, and maybe even contribute a little of their own to help grant a child’s Chrsitmas wish.

On Nov. 22 at 7 p.m., Gail Timberlake will host Peace on Earth: an evening with the Christmas Mother at Powhatan High School.

“It should be fun because there are several unique talents being shared which the young and young at heart will thoroughly enjoy,” said Timberlake last week.

Included in the evening’s entertainment will be a dance performance from a young Powhatan resident, a reading of “Boudreaux, The Bright Red Crawfish,” and a number of musical performances. 

There is no cost to attend the all-ages event, but donations will be accepted.
