Clean record gets woman out of jail time Published: July 29, 2009 By Michael Copley, Staff writer Sandra Hauser received a suspended sentence after she pleaded guilty to grand larceny in May. Hauser, 58, has a clean record and that weighed heavily with the court. She apologized to the county and the employer she stole from, saying she was “ashamed of her inexcusable actions.” “I’m betting this is a one time thing,” said Commonwealth’s Attorney Robert Beasley. “I hope this is a one time deal.” Judge Warren suspended a twelve month sentence for five years and ordered her to pay $500 restitution to her former employer. |
