The Powhatan Farmers Market will debut tomorrow at 4 p.m. by the roundabout on Old Buckingham Rd., across from the County Administration building.

A pilot program for what organizers hope will become a permanent event to promote local producers and draw people to the Courthouse Village Area, tomorrow’s market will feature local farmers and artisans, including Manakintowne Specialty Growers, Casselmonte Farm, Holly Spring Homespun, Shady Nook Alpacas, Honeysuckle Hill and Belona Botanicals. 

The market will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on the first Thursday in September, October and November.
