borhnere - everything you say about working hard has merit and I agree with it, and would add it applies to any race. 

Regarding HR statistics, well, a quick google search will provide mountains of statistics which illustrate that compared to whites, blacks are still incredibly discriminated against.  Sure there have been organizations and programs (i.e. affirmitive action, equal opportunity employment etx) to try and narrow the gap and which have been perceived as discriminatory against whites, but the fact is there is still significant discrimination against blacks on multiple levels.  Look for yourself.  Here’s a sample.  There’s much, much more available if you’d like to look.

Friend..Respectfully..I dislike the NAACP because of the hypocrisy they preach.  I dislike the organization because of their obvious inability to do anything but whine about inequality, and I dislike ANY organization that preaches and teaches disparity, and the NAACP sure does..Mr. Friend, why don’t you do a bit of research?  One of the most esteemed black men in the Unites States, Dr. Bill Cosby, has stated that the black man NEEDS TO GET OVER HIS ANGER and needs to start working on bettering his life, not sitting back, waiting for someone or some group to do it for him..Dr. Bill Cosby is an extremely intelligent, well-spoken, well-educated man, as well as being a real role model for anyone—black or white.  His son was murdered.  Did you see him gathering the Forces and whining and bemoaning his fate?  No, Mr. Friend.  He mourned in dignity.  He didn’t turn his anger at losing his son into a crusade against ANY people.  He used it constructively.  The NAACP is NOT a constructive organization, never has been—never will be.  Their sole goal is to keep the black man angry, keep him/her fighting, keep him/her feeling put-upon and trodden on.  Mr. Friend, anyone in this world can be what they want to be IF THEY WORK AT IT.  I don’t care if you’re black, brown, white, asian, green, red, whatever—-I respect you for what you have done for YOURSELF, what you have accomplished..Not for whining and hiding behind an organization that also preaches hate..To be honest, the NAACP is NO better than the KKK.  No better..Both preach hate and intolerance. 

And. Mr. Friend.  Check your statistics.  Ask any Human Resource manager. The WHITE male is the MOST discriminated against individual in the United States today.  Do your homework, Mr. Friend, and the statistics bear this out.  This Equal Opportunity stuff is pure horse sh*t.  The person hired should be the person who can DO THE JOB, not based on color, creed or sex…

I have NO desire to see black folks taken back to the way it was years ago, but if black folks continue to keep on the path they are taking here, they are putting THEMSELVES back.  Stop bemoaning your fate, and start making something of yourself, not expecting someone to give you special treatment because you are black.  History is history, and it needs to stay where it is.  If you wanna whine about slavery, do some more research.. Find out who the PREDOMINANT and first slaves in the Colonies were.  I think you’ll be shocked by the answer.

Bornhere, Why do you dislike the NAACP so much. Did they do something to you or your family. Why does NAACP threaten you? Bornhere do you want the world to go back to the 30 and 40 when a black person was only counted three fifth of a person. Do you want it to go back to where you can only eat in black section of restaurant? Do want to go back to where black couldn’t get a job or go to a certain because of the color of their skin. I just want to know?
