A Moseley, Virginia man who pleaded guilty to two counts of grand larceny in Powhatan was handed a 20-year suspended prison sentenced March 28, according to court records.

Joshua Kyle Cobb, 25, broke into a trailer in the county as many as four times over three months - from June until September 2010 - and stole a firearm and a computer, according to summary evidence.

Cobb had been seen in the area where the crimes occurred and his mother told police that she saw her son in possession of a computer matching the description of the one that was stolen.

Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Richard Cox said other items were taken but never recovered by police. The value of those items exceeded $1,000, Cox said.
Cobb was placed on supervised probation for 20 years.
