Police searching for three suspects in shooting Friday morning By Roslyn Ryan Nov 28, 2008 The Powhatan Sherriff’s Department is searching for three suspects believed to have been involved in a shooting the morning of Friday, November 28 in Powhatan. According to a statement released this morning, the Sherriff’s office received a call from an unidentified county resident at approximately 9:45 a.m., alerting them to a shooting at a home in the 4300 block of Three Bridge Road. The caller informed the dispatcher that two people had been shot and that three suspects had fled the scene. Both victims were transported to local hospitals, one by Med Flight, but their identities have not been released at this time. The Powhatan Sheriff’s Office is now searching for a grey or silver 80’s/early 90’s 4 door model Cadillac, with three black males, wearing dark clothing. The vehicle may have New Jersey license plates. Anyone with information on the vehicle or the three suspects is asked to call the Powhatan Sheriff’s Office at (804) 598-5656.
