Registration closing for adult education classes

Tomorrow is the last day to register for Powhatan County Public School’s spring 2012 adult education classes.

Dozens of courses are being offered including CPR Training, Practical Spanish, Basic Welding and Classical Japanese Cooking. Many of the courses, such as Foundations of Investing, Making Sense of Retirement, and Take Stock in the Market, will focus on finances.

Prices vary, though all Powhatan citizens aged 62 or older are eligible for the “Gold Card” program, which allows them to take courses free of charge.
