Richardson convicted of sex crimes against minors Published: April 08, 2011 By Michael Copley William Allen Richardson quietly entered pleas of no contest today to having sex with a 16-year-old girl and a 15-year-old female relative in his apartment on Old Buckingham Road in July 2010. Richardson, 39, who was charged with two counts of sexually abusing a minor and incest, faces up to 30 years in prison when he is sentenced May 23. Richardson and another man, 52-year-old Ormand E. Dixon, provided the girls alcohol and then had sex with them, according to testimony from the victims. Richardson told investigators he was intoxicated and “could have had sex” with the female relative, according to Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Richard Cox. Both men were arrested after the female relative contacted police. A jury convicted Dixon March 25 on two counts of rape and recommended he serve 30 years in prison. Richardson also faces federal charges for manufacturing child pornography. |

I just read this article and am very disgusted by what I read. I knew this family in fact I too invited this man into my home. Once I learned who he realy was, I had him arrested for bigamy. But this isn’t about me or him, this is about two beautiful strong young ladies who stood up to these monsters and showed them who was wrong, the male human pigs. I hope these two rot in jail and never are released. I know the young lady that once lived with me part time is a strong BEAUTIFUL young lady and with the help of her two wonderful moms, she will come out standing strong. Just know that her once step mother is very proud of her and her mothers. Other Mom person of Maryland

I would like to thank everyone who has been around to support these one of which is my daughter. I would like to make it clear that on top of everything that happened to her she now questions whether she is pretty, can’t look at herself in the mirror half of the time, and mourns the loss of her father even though he hurt her in such a horrible way. No child, teenager or not, should have to go through these horrible things. She is forever changed and scarred and it will take a lot of healing to make things somewhat right for her again. If her father reads this he needs to know that his attempt to damage a beautiful and trusting human being has been thwarted and her family will see her through this. The steps to her healing and trying and I will rest better knowing that there are two less people capable of doing this off of the street. Thank you Teri Hatcher for showing these children that justice can be had with people like who Powhatan has in the Commonwealth Atty Office. Just for the record, all of those people that thought for a second that that either girl should have to out think grown men have a lot to learn, especially when one is the parent. Also a thank you to my daughters’ other momma for your continued love I know it hasn’t been easy for you either and I thank you for you did for her. My daughter has lost so much within this last year and anyone who doesn’t have sympathy for the atrocities done to these girls can crawl back into the pit from which they came because they are not worthy of opening their mouths. Kelli, he fooled everyone. Do not question your judgement. You are a good person and a good mother. While we did not have the opportunity to spend much time together, I have always heard good things from “you know who” and I believe you to be a good woman. He is just a master of manipulation and deceit. You know as well as I do how convincing he can be. Luckily he was found guilty today and has further pending charges. All we can do now is hope and pray that he serves the maximum time allowed by the law. Kelli of Virginia Beach

I have been waiting to hear an update on this case. It makes me sick just thinking about it. I even invited one of these men into my home with my child, which makes me insecure about my own judgement as a parent. I spent time with his daughter and a little bit with his ex wife, and this family does not deserve to go through this… no family does. I’m hoping to read in May that these men are sentenced to each of the 30 years they are facing. Melly of Powhatan

Please Feds, PLEASE charge him with as much as legally possible. This man does not deserve to live amongst the society at large. He is a plague to his family and anyone he has ever been in contact with. My hope and prayer will be that he serves the maximum penalty the law has at its disposal. Keep him under lock and key for the rest of his miserable life. Submit Your Comments Below Commenting is not available in this weblog entry. |
