A Richmond man is wanted in Powhatan County after he was found parked in the driveway of a home that was burglarized Monday.

Police say multiple warrants have been issued for Brian Treymaine Walton who is charged with breaking and entering.

At about 1:25 p.m. yesterday, a homeowner returned to his residence in the 2000 block of Moseley Road to find a car – described as a blue 1994 BMW sedan, Virginia license plate XKW 5899 – parked in the driveway, according to Det. Jason S. Tackett of the Powhatan Sheriff’s Office.

“After conversing with the driver, the vehicle left the driveway and the homeowner discovered that the back door to his residence had been kicked open,” Tackett said in an email.

Anyone with information on Walton’s whereabouts is asked to call the Powhatan Sheriff’s Office at 804-598-5656 or your local Crime Solvers.

I am glad to see that powhatan catches the one’s that break into these house. I wonder if this guy is the one that broke into my apartment and stole my tv. since he is from richmond. I am so glad that they catch these dirtbags. Even if he is not one of them I believe in Karma so the one that broke into mine will get his. it is a shame richmond police does not investigat home breakins like they should. They told me not to call them anymore. Great job for the powhatan deputies. Even though i had issues with them I cannot stand a thief.

According to a Powhatan County deputy, whom I spoke with yesterday as he was searching property (along with plenty of other officers and several K-9 search teams) is that a 2nd man fled the scene on foot.  I don’t know who got the story wrong, the reporter or the deputy, but I would like to hear some clarification from the county.

Wow!! This is the same dirtbag charged 8/24/10 for doing the same exact thing in Dinwiddie.  Lets get this guy and all of his accomplices.  Maybe they should put him away this time!
