    7:00 p.m. Regular School Board Meeting (Pocahontas ES)
    Public Hearing on School Board Budget

Thursday, February 14th

    7:00 p.m. – Regular School Board Meeting (Pocahontas ES)
    Public Hearing on Budget
    Adoption of School Board Budget

Thursday, February 21st

    7:00 p.m. – Joint Workshop with Board of Supervisors (Powhatan County Library)
    Presentation of School Board Budget

Please consider putting the Powhatan grading system in line with neighboring counties.  As we just moved from Chesterfield County, we were shocked the grading scale have harder.

We as parents and you as educators are preparing our youth to go to college.  It is discouraging to see such a grading scale and have students miss opportunities for scholarships and wanting to further their education.

I’d also like to state, I do like the report card layout.  Thanks.
