Sheriff’s department seeking info on stolen equipment
0 CommentsPublished: March 26, 2009 By Michael Copley The Sheriff’s Office is asking residents for help in locating property stolen from Davis-Merchant Equipment, located at 2605 Anderson Highway, between March 19 and 24. According to a press release, the items stolen were located outside the building. Authorities say they are looking for four items: an orange Kubota four wheel drive utility vehicle valued at $7,059, model RTV500-H, serial number 11628; an orange Landpride rear grooming mower valued at $1,247, model FDR1660, serial number 524836; a yellow Woods rear rotary cutter valued at $977, model BB60X, serial number 1101488; and a yellow Woods rear box blade valued at $728, model GB72, serial number 1103692. Deputies responded March 24 to the report of stolen farm equipment. According to the Sheriff’s Office, “Any agency who has had larcenies from tractor dealerships or comes into contact with these items,” should contact Detective Jason Tackett of the Powhatan County Sheriff’s Office criminal investigations division (804) 598-5654. |
