to the parents of those “still at large”  why not make a public plea to your children to turn themselves in, If it were my child, I would want them to know that before another child is lost, I would want them to surrender, safely.

My prayers are for the families of Tahliek and also for his friends who were riding in the car with him.  This is such a tragedy that no one will ever get over except with the help of God.  I pray that God surround them with His angels of mercy and send them a comforter to help them in their time of bereavement.  Through God healing is possible.

My question is—why aren’t they telling us where they found the mustang.  I just heard on the 6:00 news this morning they found the van too.  At least if they told us where they found the vehicles we would have some idea whether or not they are still in the area.  My thoughts and prayers go out to the families affected by this. I just hope they hurry up and catch ALL those responsible, so they can be held accountable for what they have done.

It is a sad day when people are murdered in a close town such as Powhatan. The community will be affected by this tragedy for many years to come and Tahliek will never be forgotten. Let us hope that those families involved will be strong enough to survive and that the children of this community will learn from this. Let the parents of our community learn to be more involved and for all of us to play a more intricate role in the lives of our young adults. My heart goes out to all of you. God Bless.

I know the 17 year old juvenile i used to have classes with him when he was in school. I agree they need to have pictures out of him so EVERYONE can keep an eye out for him. In school he used to always talk about how he enjoyed being locked up because it kept him out of trouble i hope he spends the rest of his life there when they find him and the other two for what they have done to the victims family’s and friend’s.

It is funny how it took so long for the names and description was released to public, we know if it was the other way around the children pictures would have been posted right away. It sad to say that there is still racism in the world. The other sad part is that a lot of people don’t want to admit to it. We are need to come together and be treated equal. We know the cowards will only get 5 to 10 years in prison if that. The juve will only get probation until he turns 18. WHAT A SHAME. They will suffer and get what is waiting for them in the end.

Powhatan Sheriff department wants respect but you must give respect to all before receiving respect. It is no way you can honestly say the vitims’ family received the outmost respect in this case.

My prayer go out to the victims family.

I knew Tahliek Taliaferro ad the other victim in the shooting. I didnt know them personally but i knew them. To me they were good kids, and they don’t deserve what happend to them. I think that it is rediculous if it was because of rascism. Everyone is equal. I am really sorry that Tahliek Taliaferro is now in heaven and the other victim is in the hospital. I don’t know what either of them could of did to deserve a life taken away, or being shot. Even thought i didn’t know them personally i cried. I knew them they went to my school and one of them still goes to my school. I hope the families are ok. The only thing that i want to know is what happened? What happened for them to be shot? Drugs? Alchol? What led this to a murder? I hope for Tahliek Taliaferro and the other victim’s sake, they find the three people in the murder. I can’t even imagine what is going through their minds right now. Why would you even THINK about doing such a thing?

I hope you get better *other victim* (i know who you are)

My prayers go out to the victims family.  This is very sad.  The three cowards who did this will be caught, I bet they are still within a 50mile radius they haven’t gone far.  They need to be punished with the death penalty.  Taking someone’s life over a girl or racism….for any reason is crazy and sick.
