Tahliek was a typical teenager, never hurt anyone and wasn’t racist.  I’ve heard a girl being the reason and racism being the reason.  Neither one gives those three young people the right to take Tahliek’s life.  Weather it be a man or women neither one is worth it.  If it was recism we need to remember we were are created equally and by the same father.
For the three cowards that did this sin you should be given no rights of any kind, like you gave those young people in the car.
My heart goes out to all the families involved and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
God Bless You.

It is disappointing that it took so long for the Powhatan Sheriff’s Dept to release the names of the suspects. As soon as the police arrived on the scene they knew who the suspects were. By the time the names were release the suspects could have been half way around the country. If these murderers are not caught the Powhatan Sheriff’s Dept. should bear the brunt of the blame.

As a new resident to Powhatan I have to agree with the rest of the comments on pictures of the suspects. There are so many people with a lot of land and to know that these people are still at large is frightening. It would be nice to know who to be looking out for! The descriptions posted cover a lot of area and pictures would be helpful.
My thoughts and prayers are with the families injured and lost in this horrific SENSELESS tragedy!

This is an terrible tragedy! My heart is broken for everyone. Once you take a life, you can never give it back. What has happened to our children? We need to PRAY! When our children are raised in an enviroment where all they know is lying, stilling, drugs and drinking, we have to accept we are to blame also.We need to be on our knees. Chances are, if we are not praying for our children, then no-one is.

I hope the suspects are found and punished to the hardest extent of the law. The surviving vitcim is my cousin and he does not deserve to be laying in a hospital going through something like this. I am trusting that the detectives and other law enforcement handling this case will find justice for my cousin and the other victim.

I think that it is rediculous that these dume kids would go out and do something so horrible to someone like this.  I know one of the suspects that did it and I hope that she gets what she deservese.

i am very sad for all of your losses in this senseless tragedy! its so sad when good people leave so early. i wish he just would have known what kind of messed up person he was dealing with…

i agree with what all of you are saying. they show juveniles faces all the time on the national news after they commit henious crimes like this…why not now?

there will be a vigil tonight at the ymca as well. call 598-0250 for details.

Yes, most everyone in Powhatan and most surrounding areas does know the juvenile’s name and he will be caught.  Where can you go when everyone is watching for you?  Why not just give up and turn yourselves in, you’ve got enough trouble under your belt as it is anyways. I’m tellin’ ya…some sad excuses for human beings right there.

Prayers and thoughts are will the families!
