Are those poor souls ever going to get past this thing..It’s a pity that it has to go on and on, and despite all the protests and remembrances of that young man it’ll never bring him back… J of Powhatan

He and his fiance’ were not getting along and they were taking a break and he was moving things to the house he was going to live. Earlier he had moved other guns to his gun safe that used to be at his parents house but this gun he was going to take with him. They went to the river first before going to where he was going to keep the gun and on the way back dropped people off at sheets and thats when the first confrontation happened. Tom

Fact said ‘Ethan had every right to having the AK…’ Agreed. My question is what in the world would anyone need an AK for, and, what was it doing in the back seat? Sure he has a right, I’m just asking a rational question. Why was it in the backseat?
‘It just so happened that when this went down the gun was with him’ It just so happened? I’m not insinuating anything, rahter asking since I’m not a gun owner - how common is it to carry an AK in your backseat in the middle of summer? fact

I just want to set the record straight. Ethan was not a felon before this, joey was. That is the extra charge facing joey that ethan didnt have. Ethan had every right to having the AK it wasnt a mac 90. Joey is the one that is charged with posession of a fire arm by a felon. Thought this info would clear up some confusion. J of Powhatan

Ethan has nothing to do with the klan, please stop trying to associate the Parrish boys with the klan. Ethan was a gun collector and just because you own an AK doesn’t mean you are associated with them. There is no law saying that you can’t own a gun like this lots of people have them. It just so happened that when this went down the gun was with him. Stop stirring the pot there is enough of that going around without more people coming in and starting. sailorgirlsb of King William County

bottom line, as a convicted felon he shouldn’t have had a gun in the first place, but isn’t a AK47 a favored gun of those hooded freaks? Just asking? Peace for all, Equality for all, and proud to be White in a NON Raciest America! E of Ptown of Ptown

I just have a comment after reading all this CRAP on here, and just so everyone knows,I knew the victim and killers. Tahliek and Joey em have been to my house before during small “get togethers”—even once at the same time. But anyways—comment to PtownGirl,—how do you know that Tahliek was a “drug dealer”, is this because you were buying drugs from him? -just curious.and NAACP may stand for “colored people” but as far as I know, White is a color too :)..and they can protest all they want, that is their right, and I don’t mind it, and I’m white. My parents actually got a phamplet from the “Ku Klux Klan” last night, and they better not come near my property because they stand for hate and thats it. NAACP stands for equal rights, and yes you would have a group representing you, if you were the race that is always discriminated against. Thanks! J of Powhatan

Ethan stated that he pulled the gun out once he realized that they were being chased and joey and stephanie had told him that these guys were known to carry guns. He pulled over because he didn’t want these guys to follow him to a friends house if they had a gun. He said that he held the gun out of the window hoping that once they saw it that it would scare them and they would go on down the road. He opened fire once the car slowed and he saw a gun pointed at him and he shot at the ground as fast as he could they wouldn’t shoot back and not from the shoulder like you would if you were taking aim, but from the forearm that’s why the gun rose on him. I’ve seen this gun and know that if he wanted to ambush these guys, no one would have lived through this from the two cars. BOTH parties share the blame in this(the Parrish car and the other 2 cars) and it’s very sad that someone lost their life and everyone else’s life is now forever changed. PtownGirl

Friend - hope this helps Ethan did not ACCIDENTALLY fire 6 times, he admitted he did it intentially but he meant to shoot the ground, he never said that he fired it by accident. He could have unleashed all 83 rounds but he didn’t. Correct Stephanie stated that she saw something being pointed at them (but would not say what it was) Ethan pulled over and got the gun out the back of the car intent to scare them, not intent to actually shot and kill someone… Friend of richmond
