@concerned citizen - if you’re the type of person I’d expect to meet in Powhatan then I’m not surprised the sentencing turned out the way it did.  Get over the other case.  You can’t compare the two.

The thing is, Ethan is a grown man 24 years old.  It was not just pot, it was LSD added with pot and alcohol!  If he’s 24, has a fiance, and a kid why was he putting himself in that situation?  The verdict is not fair, point blank.  End of story.

This is a Black male that shot and killed a white teenager in the face and only got TWO years…. But no one is screaming about that, and does that seem very fair at all NO!!!!!

Get over the “its’ not fair, justice is not served blah blah blah…. I am sooo tired of hearing it…. Justice was served he will be spending 11 years in jail for the crime he did… and you know what yeah he may still be breathing and Tahliek isn’t but Joey’s life is over as he knows it… when he gets out in 11 years he will have a teenage daughter (that wont really know him) , he will always have this conviction on his resume keeping him from a decent job, etc…. so though he may be breathing he will not be living…. Just let it go already…

What about the other 2 murders in Powhatan – no seems to be talking about them lets think why… maybe because it is WHITE on WHITE, BLACK on BLACK… I am soooooo tired of this race card - WHATEVER
