Time to serve and an order of restitution for unauthorized use of a vehicle Published: July 29, 2009 By Michael Copley, Staff writer Gerald Todd Beasley was arrested February 23, 2009 for unauthorized use of a vehicle, a class six felony. He was found guilty in June after entering a not guilty plea and on July 22, Beasley, 54, was in court again for sentencing. “He’s just a criminal,” said Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Richard Cox, noting the 15 prior felony convictions against Beasley. Judge Thomas Warren sentenced Beasley to a year and two months in prison and ordered him to pay $295 restitution for damage done to the vehicle. |
