Gerald Todd Beasley was arrested February 23, 2009 for unauthorized use of a vehicle, a class six felony.

He was found guilty in June after entering a not guilty plea and on July 22, Beasley, 54, was in court again for sentencing.

“He’s just a criminal,” said Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Richard Cox, noting the 15 prior felony convictions against Beasley.

Judge Thomas Warren sentenced Beasley to a year and two months in prison and ordered him to pay $295 restitution for damage done to the vehicle.
