I agree with Dutchgirl…this is right around the corner form my house. I tell my husband the same thing about locking the doors. Just because we are rural doesn’t mean it won’t happen to you. Unbelievable some of the people in this world. I hope the victim recovers quickly. Dutchgirl of Powhatan

... and my husband just doesn’t understand why I want to keep all our doors in our house locked day and night. He doesn’t seem to realize that “it” happens to somebody! Debbie Elam of Powhatan

I hope and pray that this lady recovers from her injuries. The physical scars will be bad enough, but the emotional scars of last night will probably haunt her for many, many years. I know the good folks in Powhatan want the rest of the world to know this is not the normal for Powhatan. Just keep her in your prayers! Joe Zingher of United States

She’s lucky. Police data shows that 1 murder in 12 involves an ATM. Once the killer forces the first withdrawal, he learns there’s more money in the account, so he kills the victim and dumps the body where it won’t be found. That way he can keep making withdrawals. Funny how the banks never mention that. http://h20cooler.wordpress.com/2012/01/11/the-empty-building-hypothetical-redux/ Submit Your Comments Below Commenting is not available in this weblog entry. |
