A new ballpark? Powhatan Planning Commissioner Bill Melton has often joked that the area around the intersection of Huguenot Trail and Route 711 would be a great place to put a baseball park. Melton insists it’s just an idea he likes to toss around, but do you think it would fly here? Submit your answer in the comments portion below. |

Yes, a conference center is planned for the Malvern property, which is at the Huguenot Trail/Route 288 interchange. qhgirl of cumberland

I believe they meant where 288 intersects 711/huguenot trail.. I used to live a few miles down 711.. it’s an interesting thought.. but I’m glad I have moved further out.. the congestion brought on by a ball park would be tough.. it already gets dicey between the Patterson and 60 exits driving on 288. Aren’t they already planning some sort of conference center at that location already? Diogenes of Powhatan, VA

Aren’t Huguenot Trail and Route 711 one and the same? In other words, isn’t Huguenot Trail the street name for 711? If so what intersection do you mean? Submit Your Answer Below Commenting is not available in this weblog entry. |
