Spending Cuts at All County Levels Must Be Adressed: Our ever-increasing tax burden does not reflect our present economic disaster in any way, shape, or manor. Over the last decade our taxes have soared without relief each and every year. It’s not only shameful, it’s totally destructive to our local economic recovery and livelihood. There are too many families in Powhatan County struggling to “make ends meet” who may see another round of tax increases if this trend continues! Substancial tax reductions must be addressed. Families are spending less to survive, why isn’t Powhatan County? If the Powhatan County Board of Supervisors can’t manage to cut spending they must be voted-out of office to Save Our Homes; Save Small Business’, and Save Local Jobs. powhaclown
