And what about the Jr. High baseball team.  You heard maybe 1 article about them.  The coaching staff is great and there were some talent on the team this year.

Agreed, Those are some REALLY great pictures! We are very proud of the boys baseball team-Way to go guys.  But yes, now on to the Girls softball teams. Both Varsity and the JV team had a fantastic year ( again) Sorry I can’t look at some great pictures of you girls but we are just as proud! Well, maybe a bit more since my daughter is on the team. I hope we can get the “county” newspaper to cover all teams.

well congrats to the baseball team and these are some nice pictures but, has Powhatan Today ever thought about “taking a look back on the softball season” the team has had a great year and made it to the state play offs. Oh and by the way they hardly ever got any coverage by the newspaper. These girls work hard and are the first team on the field for practice and the last team off the field. Maybe that’s why they have more titles than any other team at the high school. But i guess it’s hard to make a slide show on the team when a reporter was only there for 1 or 2 games through out the whole season.
