Local car dealership partners with PYAA Contributed report Apr 16, 2008 Now in its third year, Chevy Youth Baseball is an initiative that establishes a positive relationship between local dealers and the communities they serve. Capital Chevrolet Pontiac GMC partnered with the Powhatan Youth Athletic Association because of the league’s proximity to the dealership. Over the course of the season, Capital Chevrolet Pontiac GMC will donate team equipment kits, which include: equipment bags, baseballs, ball buckets and t-shirts. They will also help donate a Chevy Tahoe SUV, which will be raffled off by participating teams, including Powhatan Youth Athletic Association Little League. Team and leagues that participate in the Chevy Tahoe raffle keep 100 percent of the proceeds. The little league teams will also have unique experiences by participating in baseball clinics and other activities led by the Richmond Braves staff. (0) Comments • Email This Article |
