Prince Edward fells Powhatan in Southside semifinals

Ellis Moore’s 3-point attempt at the buzzer was off target as Powhatan fell to Prince Edward 48-45 in the Southside District semifinals last night.

Moore finished the game with seven points. Powhatan was led by Shawn Minor’s 18. Prince Edward got 16 points from Dujuan Wilburn and Tyandre Harris added 10.

Prince Edward led 25-24 at halftime but extended its lead to five after outscoring the Indians 13-9 in the third quarter.
